From vibrant coral reefs to historic shipwrecks, the BVI's crystal-clear waters are teeming with marine life and underwater wonders. Endless Summer III provides snorkel equipment for all guests onboard, and visiting some of the prime snorkeling spots in the BVI is consistently a highlight for our guests.

You’ll truly be wowed as you circumnavigate the pinnacles and take in a breathtaking variety of fish and other marine life.
This BVI snorkeling spot is also near Norman Island and is just a short distance from The Indians. There are four caves that have been carved into the rock by the timeless Caribbean - three of these caves are at sea level and easily accessible to snorkelers. Snorkelers can explore the cave entrances, which are teeming with schools of fish and colorful coral.

You’re likely to see everything from vibrant parrotfish to yellowtail snapper and schools of spanish and french grunts. This is one of the most popular BVI snorkeling spots, and for good reason! Situated near Great Camanoe Island in the BVI (next to Marina Cay), Diamond Reef is a hidden gem known for its diverse marine ecosystem and protected waters. The reef boasts an array of hard and soft corals, providing habitat for a variety of fish species. The relatively shallow depth and calm waters at make this BVI snorkeling spot accessible for people of all skill levels. A colony of Garden Eels can often be spotted here, and snorkelers will also find a variety of other colorful marine life. This site gets its name from a massive diamond ring that a honeymooner lost here years ago, and it’s never been found as far as we know!
The Dogs are a group of small, uninhabited islands near Virgin Gorda, each offering unique snorkeling opportunities. Great Dog Island, in particular, features impressive coral formations and is home to a variety of fish species. Off the coast of Salt Island lies the wreck of the RMS Rhone, a mail ship that sank during a hurricane in 1867. While the site is popular among divers, snorkelers can explore the shallower stern section of the wreck. This historic site offers a glimpse into maritime history, with the added allure of marine life that now calls the wreck home. Snorkelers will get a chance to see Giant Barrel Sponges, as well as brightly colored Red Finger Sponge and the nearly glowing Iridescent Tube Sponge. You can often spot crab, shrimp, goby, or blenny living inside almost every sponge. Comprising of large boulders and rock walls along the shore of Salt Island, and fields of smaller boulders away from the shore, Rhone Reef has diverse marine life throughout.
